In the Heart of the Hills we Play, Learn and Grow
Tecoma Preschool
Located in the heart of Tecoma in the Dandenong Ranges, our preschool has been part of the local community for over 20 years. Once a family home, it now offers cosy spaces for children to explore and make their own.
Our backyard features a sandpit, swings, a cubby house and a beautiful elm tree for imaginative play, while the front garden, fairy walk, vegie patch and chicken house provide quieter areas for learning and reflection.
We are a not‑for‑profit, community‑run kindergarten managed by a volunteer parent committee elected each year at the AGM. Both 3‑year‑old and 4‑year‑old programs are available.

Meeting National Quality Standards
Tecoma Preschool has a long and proud history of delivering exceptional early childhood education. Since 2013, we have consistently met the National Quality Standard, maintaining this strong foundation year after year through the dedication, expertise and care of our teaching team.
Our commitment to quality is reflected across all seven National Quality Areas — from our child‑centred programs and nurturing relationships, to our safe environments, collaborative partnerships and strong leadership. Families can feel confident knowing their child is learning, growing and thriving in a preschool community that prioritises wellbeing, inclusion and continuous improvement.
At Tecoma Preschool, quality isn’t just something we meet — it’s something we actively strengthen every day.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
